FAQ

  • They are all-natural with no added colors or fragrances. These candles are dripless in a draft-free area and have clean-burning – no soot properties.

Another benefit is that beeswax candles may clean air and/or improve mood. When you purchase beeswax you are using a renewable resource.

Beeswax candles produce a bright, white light (in the same spectrum as sunlight).

A natural clean light honey fragrance will be present in unscented candles.

  • We can easily see that cleaner-burning is one of the major health benefits of beeswax candles. By not producing toxic smoke or soot, you should be breathing cleaner air.

They are also known for being hypo allergenic. People with asthma or allergies report fewer problems with beeswax. Paraffin candles are petroleum by-products and beeswax candles are all-natural.

  • Researchers disagree on the air cleaning ability to burn beeswax.  Beeswax candles are a natural ionizer – it emits negative ions, which have been known to remove pollutants in the air.

The stuff floating in the air that we don’t want to breathe in (dust, dander, etc.) – carries a positive charge. So, the negative ions your beeswax candles produce help neutralize pollutants. Using beeswax candles can reduce indoor air pollution, perhaps that is why asthma and allergy sufferers breathe easier.

  • Beeswax burns hot and mixing it with other waxes or oils produces a cooler burning candle. Our candle wax is a proprietary combination of ethically sourced beeswax, and renewably coconut, soy, and RSPO palm wax.

  • Beeswax costs more since the wax is only made by honeybees & the supply is limited.

Honeybees produce wax from the glands on their bodies. It requires a lot of energy. The more wax in a hive, the less honey there is. For every 1-2 pounds of wax, the bees lose around 6 pounds of honey. Hence, beeswax candles cost more to create than their counterparts, soy & paraffin.
